many indigenous communities consider fire to be the messenger of the unseen. a connection to the spirit world. As a translator for that which is beyond this physical plane. fire energy represents our passions, and what ignites us. This is where our courage, our strength, and our personal power resides. it transforms, burning away the old and inviting in our new intentional selves. This is the mental body.

If thoughts become things, what kind of things are we creating with our thoughts?

Creating a sacred space

Inviting in the physical form of each element allows us to connect with them on a deeper level, manifesting the energies into the physical body. Creating this sacred space can be as complex building an altar or as simple a placing a representation of the element in front of you during the ceremony. fire can be represented with a lit candle.

read this aloud:

We give thanks to the element of fire for the passion, the courage, the strength, the transformation. Thank you for allowing us to burn all the toxins that lay in the physical body, the emotional body, the mental body, so we can transcend to the spiritual body. As move through the smoke, we connect deeper with the confidence that lies within.
