Nana Marina is a well respected Mayan Tz’utujil elder from Lake Atitlan. She is a Mayan spiritual guide based in Guatemala, daughter of Tata Pedro Cruz. The Tz’utujil are known as the guardians and protectors of Cacao by sharing the oral traditions and keeping alive the ancestral bean. Nana Marina is part of a group known as the walkers for the life and the peace of Earth. Nana Marina is a powerful ceremonial leader of fire, tobacco, and Cacao. She is known globally for her dedication to sharing the ancestral wisdom.
Tata Pedro Cruz is a well respected Mayan Tz’utujil elder from Lake Atitlan. She is a Mayan spiritual guide based in Guatemala. His teachings include Mayan Cosmology and guidance on the sacred calendars. He is known globally for his profound yet practical ways of sharing the ancestral wisdom of the Maya. He also shares sacred tobacco and fire as tools for healing and deepening the connection to the divine spirit. He is also part of a group known as the walkers for the life and the peace of earth.
Florencia Fridman is a self-empowerment artist working with heart opening therapies involving holistic nutrition, Ceremonial Grade Cacao, yoga, sound journeys, and breath work as instruments for transformation; creating a safe vessel for self exploration. She is deeply inspired by Nana Marina’s work. Florencia also studied at Las Piramides Del Ka-- a metaphysics training that dives deep into the consciousness of dreams and meditation. She has been working with rebirthing (a breathing modality) since the age of 8. Co-Founder of Cacao Lab.
